Our picnic baskets are not standard menus, but rather you make up your own basket from our A la Carte menu and beverage/wine list

which we then put into the basket with appropriate crockery, cutlery and glasses, as well as linen tablecloth & serviettes.

We suggest that on your arrival at the gardens, you come directly to the restaurant to place your order & make payment, then go off to find a nice picnic spot and return after 20-30 minutes to collect your basket.

The reason being that sometimes, if you pre-order, there are delays of sorts (traffic, etc), and your food might not be as pleasant as when freshly prepared.

We do ask for a R250/keys/ID deposit which is fully refundable if the basket is brought back in the same condition and with required items.
